Cryostat
Cryostat CT-25
Cryostat is a basic tool for the researchers and industries who involved in developing materials and manufacturing products for semiconductor and other applications.
HHV has made cryostats,a liquid nitrogen cryostat, in early 1980s, was the time the testing of semiconductor materials is in primitive stage at least in India.
Today, many industries/organizations around the world have improvised the functional usage of cryostat for high accuracy measurement of electrical, magnetic and optical properties of semiconductor materials. India is on track of taking serious efforts to develop semiconductor materials and devices to higher level applications including solar thin film materials. And hence, HHV is back again to develop cryostat with updated design, configurations and technology for the research laboratories and industries.
The recently developed HHV cryostat model CT 25 is the state of the art tool for studying temperature dependent conductivity of the semiconducting materials. It has been tested and demonstrated for its reliability and measurement accuracy. The cross sectional view showcases the configuration and sophistication of cryostat model HHV CT-25.
Special features
- The unique design to hold 4 samples up-to the size of 1 sq inch at a time, which significantly reduces the total time for this cumbersome experiment.
- The temperature of the cold finger is maintained with silicon diode based flat sensor and a heater of 25W.
- A high precision controller facilitates to measure the temperature with the specified range of -196.15 deg C to 226.85 deg C.
- The 4 numbers of calibrated light sources (100W/cm2) enables uniform light irradiation on the sample surface to measure the photo/dark conductivity.
- A compact modular pumping station yields the vacuum of 1 x 10-6 mbar.
This ready to use liquid nitrogen cryostat is custom designed tool for research laboratories in industry and academic institutions.
